Community Executive Officer
The Director of the Community. The CEO administrates the core values of SPG promoting creativity, curiosity, collaboration and encouragement. It is a political, social, and emotional position. Some of the more basic tasks of the job include making sure everyone is kept informed, managing the maintenance of the website, and taking a hand in coordinating the ranks as needed. The CEO will also be the one who calls meetings and gatherings of the Game Division Leadership. If the CEO is unavailable for any of the above, the Division/Guild Leader for the respective Division will be available for assistance.
The main leadership position of a Division/Guild. The Division Ops' administrates the core values of SPG. It is also a political, social, and emotional position. Some of the more basic tasks of the job include making sure everyone is kept informed, managing the guild, raids, events and taking a hand in coordinating the ranks as needed. The Division Ops' will also be the one who calls meetings and gatherings between his/her Division/Guild. If the Division/Guild Leader is unavailable for any of the above, the Division/Guild Officers/Council are available for assistance.
The Division Operations Manager responsibilities can't be done alone, and the title (sadly) can't be shared. The Officers/Council are in direct consultation with the Division Ops' they are very active guild members who work towards guild recruitment and planning guild activities. These are dedicated players who have volunteered their assistance with managing guild activities and relations. As such, diplomacy skills must be adequate enough to foster the needs of a healthy community. An Officer/Council is a person to go for our guild members to discuss matters that concern them, allowing for private discussions that can be brought to the attention of the Division Ops/CEO if needed. The Officers/Council work to resolve issues in a positive, collaborative, and effective manner.
A Veteran is just that: a time tested loyal member to South Pacific Gamers. These individuals have been through thick and thin with the community to get where they are, and they generally take part in the major community decisions that need to be made. They have dedicated themselves to the betterment of the community and shown a willingness to participate constructively and continue to do so.
A Core Raider is a loyal Raider of South Pacific Gamers. They are very active and they form the base of our raiders, they are the core of the raiding community, continually prove themselves and are responsible for upholding the community's good reputation and name whilst focusing on progression and achievements. They continually maintain a very high raid attendance, and dedicate themselves to the betterment of the guild/community They continually show a willingness to participate constructively.
Casual Raider's form the reserve base of our progression team, they are the support of the raiding community. Whilst supporting our core raid team and playing socially they contribute to the betterment of the guild/community and maintain a willingness to participate socially in a constructive manner. Unlike a Core Raider they do not maintain a high raid attendance but provide their availability and skill set when they are able.
A Social Member is active when they can be, and they form the base of our members, they are the core of the community and continually uphold the community's good reputation and name throughout their online adventures. They bring balance to the community create moderate amounts of mayhem and are here to have fun, like any member they dedicate themselves to the betterment of their guild/community and show a willingness to participate constructively.
The lowest rank, but still one of the most important, the Initiate's are put through a “Trial Membership” process. In this time, their overall participation with other members will be monitored to ensure that they have no malicious intent, and that they get along with everyone. From this rank initiates decide on their future in the Guild, and if they plan to join the Core Raiding party or contribute as a causual or social member.
After 2 months of inactivity, (without prior notice) members will be moved to the Lockup/Inactive listing. To avoid this, please leave a member of leadership a heads up, if possible, if you know that you may be gone for an extended period of time. Emergencies will be excused. In addition, problem members will be moved to this rank, and will be taken off at the discretion of the officers. Forum access is sometimes Disabled.
