As the name states a new update on June 7 will improve the quality of life for guilds and strongholds. Previously, smaller guilds had a rough time donating to their coffer and keeping up with larger guilds who would unlock boons and gear at an accelerated pace due to their membership.
We have been discovered !! .....Wait, what, how.... why.
South Pacific Gamers has been approached by like-minded communities to discuss an allegiance. Previously, we have remained quiet, keeping to ourselves and not activly recruiting. Talks are underway, our values and culture will be the main point of our consideration.
So how does this all work?
What we know right now is, Each guild maintains their own member rosters, chat channel, projects, holdings, etc. However, ally guilds in an alliance are able to contribute to each other’s holdings and communicate in a alliance chat channel.
It looks like an alpha guild will be able to invite three beta guilds, which then are able to add three gamma guilds themselves, adding up to 13 guilds total. Within an alliance, you will presumably be able to contribute to other guilds coffers. Alpha guilds are probably getting small buffs to experience or AD gain, gamma guilds a reduction to structures to help them grow, and beta guilds a balance of both.
in the end everybody should benefit. Alliances have a much larger playerbase to work with in terms of Dragon fights, for example: Much like SPG, Smaller guilds that have no shot at getting down more than one or two should immediately be able to get all four. Runs will probably be organized in the alliance channel regardless of guild affiliation. You call a Stronghold where the run takes place and anybody can join. Same for marketplaces or Influence runs etc.
More details to be announced soon.
